Copying a Station

Administrators have access to a feature which allows them to make a copy of an existing station's configuration and create a new station from it.

Steps to Copy a Station

  1. Navigate to the Administration page by clicking the user menu in the top right corner of the page and selecting 'Administration'. Note that only Project Administrators have access to the Administration page.

  2. From the Administration page select the 'Projects' item from the side menu.

  3. Select the project that contains the station that you would like to copy.

  4. From the Project Configuration page find the station you would like to copy in the table.

  5. In the 'Actions' column, click the 'copy' icon which looks like two pieces of paper. This will open the copy station form.

  6. Fill in the form with the name of your new copy, the new station's SUI (Station Unique Identifier) and select the project that you would like to create the new copy in. Note that the Project select menu will default to the current project you're in but you can change this to a different project if needed.

  7. If you would like to make multiple copies of a station, simply press the '+ Another Copy' button for as many copies as are needed and follow the previous step for each additional copy.

  8. When you finish filling in the forms, press the submit button and your new station copies will be created. When the copies are finished being generated you will receive a confirmation message and a button to refresh the page in order to see your new copies.
