Making a Project's Widget Boards Public

provides a means to make your project's widget board publicly available to anyone who knows your project's public key. Once you have set your public key anyone can view your widget board by navigating their internet browser to stevens-connect.com/public-key.

Steps to Make Your Project Public

  1. Navigate to the Administration page by clicking the user menu in the top right corner of the page and selecting 'Administration'. Note that only Project Administrators have access to the Administration page.

  2. From the Administration page select the 'Projects' item from the side menu.

  3. Select the project that you would like to make public.

  4. Scroll down to the 'Visibility Settings' section below the station table and press the '+ Public Key' button.

  5. Add a 'Public Key' to your project by filling in the form field with any text that does not contain spaces (e.g. companyname) and press 'OK' to save.

  6. Lastly, find the station that you would like to publish in the 'Visibiltity Settings' station list and turn on the 'Public' toggle.

  7. Your station is now Public! You can verify that your station is public by navigating your browser to https://stevens-connect.com/public/my_public_key replacing 'my_public_key' with the public key you set in step 5.
