Publishing Your Stations

allows any user to publish their own stations to the Station Directory. When a user publishes their station, the station's data will be made available to view by all users on the network. The Station Directory contains a list of all available published stations. You can search the directory and add any of the published stations to your favorites list. Once you favorite a station it becomes available when creating widgets or using Trends.

Steps To Publish Your Station

  1. Navigate to the Administration page by clicking the user menu in the top right corner of the page and selecting 'Administration'. Note that only Project Administrators have access to the Administration page.
  2. From the Administration page select the 'Projects' item from the side menu.
  3. Select the project that contains the station that you would like to publish.
  4. Scroll down to the 'Visibility Settings' section below the station table and press the '+ Public Key' button.
  5. Add a 'Public Key' to your project by filling in the form field with any text that does not contain spaces (e.g. companyname) and press 'OK' to save.
  6. Lastly, find the station that you would like to publish in the 'Visibility Settings' station list and turn on the 'Published' toggle. Note that publishing a station also makes the station public.
  7. Your station is now Published! You can verify that your station is published by navigating to the Project page and selecting the 'Station Directory' option from the side menu. Search for your station by name and you should see it listed in the directory table.
