Hardware Setup
AVO Setup
AVO's are shipped with the power turned off. To power on your AVO, remove the screws from the lid and turn on the power ship which is located on the bottom right corner of the board.
AVO Voltage
The 'ANALOG SELECT' switch on the AVO battery interface board should be set to OFF for channels that will have a voltage input. Maximum input voltage is 2.5vdc. If your sensor puts out a higher voltage, an external voltage divider must be used. The 'ANALOG SELECT' switch on the AVO battery interface board should be set to ON for channels that will have a 4-20mA current input
eTracker Setup
For a comprehensive overview of the eTracker hardware setup process please refer to the eTracker User Guide.
eTracker Voltage Sensors
If using the Mini Sensor Interface, the switch on the front of the interface should be in the left-hand position. If using the Full Sensor Interface, the switches on the bottom of the PCB should be set to the Voltage position for the channels that will have a voltage input. Maximum input voltage is 2.5vdc. If your sensor puts out a higher voltage, an external voltage divider must be used.
eTracker Current 4-20 mA Sensors
If using the Mini Sensor Interface, the switch on the front of the interface should be in the right-hand position. If using the Full Sensor Interface, the switches on the bottom of the PCB should be set to the Current position for the channels that will have a Current input.
